E. Faye Butler’s career spans over 40 years in the entertainment industry. Ms. Butler is an actress, singer, and director. Most importantly, she is an entertainer with an extraordinary gift for capturing an audience and placing them in the palm of her hand.

Ms. Butler performs in concert halls, club venues, corporate events, cabarets and theaters across the country and internationally. EFO Orchestra is E. Faye’s baby organized in 2010. EFO can accommodate your every need. From piano for intimate affair, to her eleven piece orchestra complete with a full horn section for any event.

She continues to create and develop new and captivating shows.

As a director, E. Faye shapes narratives with insight and creativity, inspiring performers and crafting compelling theatrical experiences.
As a director, Ms. Butler has been fortunate to learn from and work with amazing directors, and after years of standing in front of the footlights, she is now passing those gems forward. Her directing credits include: One Mo’ Time (Anacostia Theatre), Marie and Rosetta (Northlight and Milwaukee Rep), The Wiz (Fulton Theatre), The Color Purple (MSMT, BroadwayWorld), Goods (Artemisia Theatre, BroadwayWorld), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Michigan Ensemble Theatre/Portland Stage), Five Guys Named Moe (BAC), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Drury Lane Productions, Jeff Award), Beyond the Door (TT Productions, BroadwayWorld), Footloose (MSMT), and Regions of Total Unlikeness (Ten Chimneys).

Her unwavering passion fuels every project, motivating continuous growth and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of her artistry.
Ms. Butler has a long-standing relationship with the world of ballet, having traveled with The Washington Ballet to La Habana, Cuba, performing throughout the provinces and in the Teatro Vista Theatre for the people of Cuba. She has performed and sung at the Kennedy Center and Harman Hall with the ballet in several programs: "Blues Until June," "The Sun Also Rises," and "The Great Gatsby." She has performed with the Sacramento Ballet, and "The Great Gatsby" was performed for three seasons with The Hong Kong Ballet in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China. Adding to her repertoire are two CDs, most recently "A Circle of Firsts" and in 2003 "E. Faye at the Midway Theatre," as well as "Second City Divas."
